Vice President of Government Affairs
Mr. Kalutkiewicz is responsible for formulating CIBR’s policy positions, monitoring and drafting legislation, regulations, and benchmarking data, conducting analytical research, and organizing CIBR grassroots efforts.
Before joining CIBR, Mr. Kalutkiewicz served as the Director of Government Affairs for the American Association for Dental Research, advocating before the legislative and executive branches on such issues as biomedical research funding, federal oral health programs, comparative effectiveness research, and copyright. Mr. Kalutkiewicz also served as Manager of Government Affairs at the American Gastroenterological Association, helping to effect passage of the Digestive Disease National Commission at NIH-NIDDK. He also helped found the AGA Political Action Committee (PAC) and was the assistant director of the PAC. A native of Massachusetts, Mr. Kalutkiewicz began his career in the Washington, DC office of U.S. Congressman James McGovern.
Mr. Kalutkiewicz is a graduate of James Madison University with a BA in Political Science, and from George Mason University with a Masters in Public Policy.
