On June 21-22, 2012, the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) celebrated its 10th Anniversary. The Academy of Radiology Research played a principal role in advocating for the establishment of the NIBIB, and the Academy and CIBR worked with Congress to officially recognize the Institute’s first decade of success.
