Recent articles in the media have reported that President Obama supported an increase in funding for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as part of the deficit reduction package. Although this funding was not included in the final agreement, CIBR wrote a letter to the President to thank him for his support. The letter also asks him to continue to support the NIH as he works with Congress to implement the agreement. You can read the letter here.
